Formed in 1998, TECHNOFIT SDN BHD (TECHNOFIT) as today continue to expand as the market demands, to be proactive, innovative and to be leading towards vision 2020. Initially set up to undertake business in general engineering.
It has now grown into more diversified businesses to serve the power generation, the processing and petrochemical and oil and gas industries sectors in which the company continues to expand. Start-up in 1998, concentrate on the erection of power generation boilers. Own by a groups of hands on, world wide experienced on the erection of power generation plant.
Power generations businesses continue to be a major business focus for TECHNOFIT and to date the company has undertaken about 6950MW national industrial power plant related projects. The types of power generation plant installed include coal-fired, oil-fired, gas-fired and diesel-fired, with scope of works ranging across erection, installation and testing.
TECHNOFIT was awarded the ISO9001:2008 certification by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), which is one of the world's leading certification and classification bodies.
The company has received many project offer since then and gained wider recognition and confidence from the industry with regards to its expertise in providing a complete range of engineering services for repairs, maintenance of all type of boilers and its auxiliaries for Power Generation Plant.
Moreover, the company has also since diversified into undertaking and executing project relating to electrical power systems for substations and power plants. TECHNOFIT target to penetrate seriously into the oil and gas industry onwards and have acquired some contracts to work on projects in this sector.
Currently, TECHNOFIT owned Fabrication Facility Yard located on Lumut Port Industrial Park. It has the facilities such as state-of-the-art fabrication equipment to accommodate fabrication activities in both the Power Generation and Oil and Gas Industries.
The project have began on November 2009, with the first half of the area has been completed by mid 2010 and operation was started on the third quarter of 2010.
